הכיתות יתנהלו במתכונת מצומצמת שתאפשר שיח ודיון בין המשתתפים ובין המרצה.

· ביום ד' 28.5 בשעה 14:00 ירצה דר. דיפינדרה פראשאד על אתגרי העיור בהודו וירחיב גם בנושא שימור אנרגיה ומים כמרכיב מרכזי בתכנון עירוני בהודו.

· ביום ה' 29.5 בשעה 14:00 ירצה מר ג'יימס הולם על עקרונות היסוד של העירוניות. בהרצאה יוצג הדומה והשונה בין העירוניות החדשה בארה"ב והרנסנס האורבני בבריטניה.

· ביום ה' 29.5 בשעה 12:00 סדנא עם מיקי מירו - "תכנון מוכוון תקשורת". סדנת התנסות של אנשי תכנון בעולם התקשורת, כיצד יוצרים עניין אצל עיתונאים בנושאי תכנון שנחשבים קשים.

Deependra Prashad - Biography

Deependra Prashad is an Architect/ Planner & the Director of INTBAU India (the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism), handling Projects in Participatory community based planning for urban regeneration in derelict areas & resource efficient architectural design. He is coordinating various activities of the India chapter and is a member of the INTBAU International College of Chapters.

He is also involved in:

-Research & Building work in construction projects in ecological and energy efficient building.

-Consulting Govt. of India & NGO’s, on issues of appropriate building materials, rainwater harvesting and community based planning for educational infrastructure development.

- Coauthored & Editor of the Blue Drops Series for UN-Habitat on “Rainwater Harvesting practices across the world” & the INTBAU publication on "New Architecture and Urbanism: Development of Indian Traditions"

- Teaching Sustainable & Energy Efficient architecture, at the premier Indian School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Teaching the “Future of Cities” program at the post graduate dept of Urban Design.

James Hulme – Biography

James is Director of Public Affairs for The Prince's Foundation. He co-ordinates the Foundation’s strategic engagements with national agencies including English Partnerships, the Building Research Establishment, Home Builders Federation, RIBA, RICS, and others. He has also acted as Director of the education programme, running the Foundation’s most recent programme of conferences and short courses.

He has written and researched widely on the built environment and community, from local level to regional strategy, as well the impact of architectural style and urban design on social and economic fabric of towns. As project co-ordinator he contributed to Yorkshire Forward’s Urban Renaissance Strategy and was the co-author of Will Alsop’s SuperCity exhibition and book for Urbis, Manchester.

For the Foundation he has also developed Rural Affordable Housing Design Guidance, in collaboration with Business in the Community and recently produced a property market analysis of mixed use communities, Valuing Sustainable Urbanism.
